Start of Season Bash 2023/24

We are looking forward to welcome you all to the Start of Season Bash on:

Tuesday 7th November @18:30

at Hacienda

The Start of Season Bash (SOSB) marks the start of the season for the Ski Club. The opportunity to sign up for the 2023/24 trips will begin at this event! The Trip Captains will be there to advertise their trips, answer all your questions and of course, register you for the trips that you would like to join. In order to join the event and the trips advertized by the club you must first become a member of the Ski Club.

How do I join the Ski Club?

To become a member of the club for the season:

  1. Read the Club Rules
  2. Sign up on the My SSCC Portal and pay your membership fee (30 euros)!
  3. Check out the Membership & How to Join page for more details, also mentioned below.
  4. Note that by signing up and paying the membership fee, you agree with Club's Rules.

How do I join the SOSB Event?
After you have received your membership number and paid the club fee, you can sign up for the SOSB using this link.

Where are we going then?
The list of the trips is:

        • Damuls-Mellau: Jan 24th – Jan 28th
        • Engelberg: Feb 2nd – Feb 4th
        • Montafon: Feb 23rd – Feb 25th

So come prepared!! Information on each trip is already available on the website, on each trip's dedicated pages, where we publish the most up-to-date information, so please keep an eye on the trips that you are interested in. Prices will also be announced as they become available, at latest a couple of days prior to the SOSB.

What happened with the Ski Club Logo competition?
During the SOSB we will also take the opportunity to announce the winner of the Ski Club Logo competition!! The participation was amazing and the Ski Club committee has a tough choice ahead!!

What has changed for the Ski Club since last season?
Taking this opportunity, we would also like to announce some changes for the upcoming season:
  • The club has successfully managed to maintain a low membership fee in the last few years, with the collaboration of SSCC and its members, despite the increase on transportation, accommodation and ski passes. Unfortunately, this is not possible anymore so this year, the membership of the Ski Club has been increased to 30 euros.
  • For the upcoming season, the club decided to go back to the old way of paying for the trips, with a 50 euro unrefundable deposit at sign-up and the remaining amount as a payment a few weeks before the trip (depending on the trip captain).

We are looking forward to seeing you there,

On behalf of the EIS Committee,

Iro
