Andermatt, Switzerland, February 2016

Three days bus trip, halfboard incl. lift pass

Hotel in town and walking distance from the lifts !!!

Each ski morning in Andermatt brings you a choice of three different ski areas. Go to the right from the hotel and you head for Nätschen for accessible and sunny slopes. Or take the short train ride to the larger area of Sedrun where you can ski from valley to valley and have lunch with an Italian touch in Romansch speaking Switzerland. Choose to go left from the hotel and head for the more challenging skiing on the north face of the Gemsstock with some fantastic off-piste routes with nearly 2000m vertical drop. Gemsstock has for years been rated one of the top ten destinations in the world for off-piste skiing.

The last number of years it has been planned to change the area of Andermatt through large investments. This year it should finally be so far. A new lift leaves from quite close to the hotel. From here it goes to the top of Nätschen. Furthermore the areas of Nätschen and Sedrun have been connected with two lifts.

All three areas are included in your lift pass !!

We are staying in the same friendly hotel as every year. Two options of rooms are available. Rooms with en-suite bathroom and rooms with bathroom on the corridor. Rooms with en-suite are nicer than the others. Three course meal is included with fondue option for the cheese lovers on Saturday night.

Prices for the trip with en-suite is 350€/390€

The economical option with bathroom in Corridor is 315€/355€

The bus ride to Andermatt is only around five hours, so if you don't like long bus rides or if you definitely want to hit town on Thursday night this is yet another reason to join this trip.
